Day 1 - Garden

"Oh, Yuni! Your home is so beautiful!" Kyoko gushes when she arrives with one of the Giglio Nero drivers - one of the many guests that will arrive tonight here home. It just so happens that Kyoko has arrived first. Maybe not wholly by coincidence, admittedly, but still, she's arrived first. "And you said we could have some of our slumber party in your garden?"

Yuni has faced the end of the world. She's faced the end of her life. She's been burdened by so many emotions and memories which are simultaneously hers yet not hers.

Funnily enough, she isn't wholly sure her heart has ever fluttered so anxiously before despite all of that.

At least it means she's able to keep herself... mostly under control (?), hands folded in front of her sundress as she smiles over at Kyoko. "I thought it might be nice. You all were so nice and accommodating to me when I had to visit Japan and stay there a while that this is the least I could do while you're all staying here as Sawada-kun goes sightseeing with the boys." Or, in other words, goes to properly meet Vongola Nono and gets a lot of things hammered out.

A good deal of it won't go exactly as either of them plan... But that's none of her business.

Yuni's focus today is on being a good host to the girls, showing the Giglio Nero as a stalwart ally of the Vongola, and just maybe impressing the very pretty girl that stands in front of her right now.

The pretty girl who cocks her head to the side with a smile, hands grasping behind her back as she leans forward. "Well of course we did that! We're your friends, Yuni, so of course we'd do our best to make sure that you were really comfortable and happy!" Her smile only grows brighter in a way that draws an admiring blush to Yuni's cheeks. "And I really care about you, besides!"

"I'm glad," Yuni says in return. "I care about you, too." It's just that she has no idea exactly what Kyoko means by care. Japanese culture is very different from Italian culture, after all. Is this the kind of care she wants, or something else?

Being a seer doesn't mean getting all the knowledge in the world. Unfortunately. Or maybe fortunately. Byakuran is an example of how that's no good.

But that's why she's arranged all of this, right? To make a move, to get information, to know exactly if she has a chance with this pretty and sun-filled girl from across the seas who caught her heart a long time ago. In this, Yuni has no idea what will happen, due to the - well, many of her own men would call it an absolute clusterfuck of the timeline, but she simply has to admit that it is messy and in places obscured because of so many strange forces, like Checkerface.

Besides... It feels just a little bit like cheating if she tried to force the future like this.

She continues talking, wanting this to seem natural so that there's not too much of a contrast between now and when the rest of the girls come on over. "If you want, one of the people here can help take in your things, and we can have snacks in the garden. We're really small, but there's still people who work here at the manor!"

Is this too much? Yuni doesn't think it should be, not with how the Vongola have rolled out the red carpet (and so many bodyguards lurking in the shadows to dispatch anyone who'd make a problem) for the guests ever since they first landed on Italian tarmac. Probably even a little bit beforehand. Yet it seems to catch Kyoko off-guard regardless, straightening up again. "Oh! Well, that's alright - but, oh, hold on, I need to go grab something from the car first, okay? I'll be right back!" Yuni doesn't even have a chance to reply before Kyoko turns on her heel, trotting back over to the slick black and bulletproof car that took her here.

That... probably still works out in her favor, she supposes? Yuni takes a moment to glance up at the person besides her - someone who looks like so many of the kind of typical mafioso that can be found amongst any Family.

She knows the truth of the matter, however. Of course.

"So... What do you think of that, Cervello? Do you think that went well?"

Hidden neatly in the illusion provided by Mist flames, the Cervello operative besides her inclines her head towards Yuni. "It all seems to be going well enough," she answers in that calm and patient voice of hers. The same voice that so many of the Cervello seem to have, no matter which one it is or how different they look. Well, that is just the nature of them. "There is no reason to think otherwise. You've taken all the appropriate steps for this to be a pleasant afternoon for both of you."

Well, it is nice to think that her work can be recognized. Still, Yuni's fingers press down against the pattern of her skirt for a moment before she forces them to ease up. "I had simply hoped that, maybe... It would be a little clearer on what her exact feelings were." Something for her to know where she'd be going, or what she'd have to do, or if she could have hope.

"These things are often not so apparent so soon, Donna."

However, that's all the Cervello can say before there's the sound of footsteps racing back towards them from the path, and Kyoko's sunny smile comes around the bend. "Alright! I'm sorry about that, but there was something I really wanted to grab back in the car so that I could give it to you myself, Yuni!" And that something would be the bouquet of brilliant white lilies which she holds out to Yuni, full and brilliant in her arms. "Here! I saw these in town, and thought they would suit you perfectly!"

"Oh!" Yuni can't help smiling, even as she welcomes the lilies into her own arms. While the color isn't a match.. Lilies for the Donna of the Giglio Nero Famiglia, hm? "Thank you... They're incredible." Holding the flowers close to her chest with one arm, she uses her other hand to gesture towards one of her Family waiting nearby. "Then, they'll escort you over to the table I prepared for us! If you can give me just a moment to find the perfect vase for these, then I'll be right there with you." Maybe she'll even have the lilies make an appearance at the table? They wouldn't be out of place at all.

It seems like a simple enough matter, with Kyoko happily trotting along as she's guided. Yuni only realizes something is amiss when she looks up to the Cervello to ask about a vase, and finds a very contemplative look being sent her way, the Cervello curling her fingers by her disguised chin.

"...I may have to rescind my earlier statement about this being too soon, Donna."
