Bad news, ladies - everyone's favorite baseball heartthrob seems to finally have been snatched right up!
Takeshi Yamamoto has always been on everyone's radar ever since he first jumped into the professional baseball scene a few years ago, and even before that when he was playing in the college leagues! While he first got recognition for his incredibly batting that could get him home runs for his entire time, his good looks and charming attitude in interviews endeared him to households everywhere. It wasn't any surprise when people heard he was popular all the way back in middle school!
Yet to the shock of everyone, it seems this guy is committed to what he loves, and that's been baseball only for years. Not for lack of any ladies trying, of course! Yet almost as much as his astounding ability to nail home runs, Yamamoto's lack of a love life has fascinated many an individual, including yours truly.
Of course, where there's a blank page, people fill it up with all sorts of wild and juicy rumors. Any girl who showed up around him at any outing was at risk of being thought of as The One, with only engagement announcements quelling all the gossip. It got to the point that even last week, a mysterious tattoo'd young man was thought to indicate to the whole world that Yamamoto swung for the opposite team this entire time! The internet can attest to the firestorm which that kicked up, enough that it almost seemed like it might threaten his career.
Yet is it better or worse that the world's most attractive bachelor is finally confirmed taken? The news was picked up this last Monday, in the chilly month of January that is sure to cool some people's hopes right down. Yamamoto was seen exiting the lavish restaurant Kensril with his new beau on his arm - and the two were indisputably close! Witnesses, including various journalists who like to lurk around the high class dining experience that draws all sorts to its doors, were able to see the way his female guest held onto his arm, whispered into his ear with a smile, and even seemed to have kissed him when they entered Yamamoto's car!
It's a real tragedy for female sports fans the world over, or at least especially in Japan. Yet if there's one thing that might be able to take people's minds off of a famous eligible bachelor being taken off the table, maybe a mystery will be the thing to do it! Despite the many journalists who got her photograph, not a single one has been able to match a name to that pretty face! Pretty impressive in this day and age where the digital footprint is near impossible to avoid, don't you think?
