Duscur boasts no noteworthy features, but is rumored to be rich in valuable minerals. Its people practice polytheism and worship a pantheon of different gods, viewing the gods of other countries as equally valid and incorporating them into their own pantheon as they did with Sothis. Revealed in the support conversation between Mercedes and Dedue, Dedue claims that the “oversimplified” version of the creation of Duscur involved the sky god becoming angry with the earth god and, in retaliation, created Duscur.

According to Dedue, Duscur had many scattered towns, with each one specializing in one trade. Duscur was also home to several unique flowers native to the region.
